Mark Stefan
Consultancy Manager / Principal Landscape Architect
BSc (Hons), Dip LA, CMU
A Chartered Landscape Architect with over twenty years experience in the public, private and charity sectors, during his career Mark has liased extensively with ecologists on large scale projects in relation to a wide variety of protected species. He has been involved in the production of several environmental impact assessments and ecological mitigation plans for major schemes, and has experience in the design of sustainable drainage systems and green roofs. Besides managing the business and providing clients with a comprehensive landscape design service Mark undertakes BREEAM and Code For Sustainable Home assessments.

Martin Burgess
Consultancy Ecologist
BA (Hons), BSc (Hons)
After a life time interest in Natural History, Martin obtained a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Ecology and Nature Conservation from Anglia Ruskin University in 2005. He is experienced in the carrying out of phase 1, nvc, tree, great crested newt, bat and breeding bird surveys in addition to the undertaking of recording, species translocation and ecological clerk of works activities for major construction projects in the south-east of England.
In addition he has been involved in preparing recommendations for sites to be upgraded to SINC status and is an Associate Member of IEEM.

Mike Poulton
Consultancy Ecologist
An extremely well regarded, experienced and knowledgeable botanist, Mike has collected over 47,000 records in connection with the Birmingham and Black Country Flora project and been the author of a dozen botanically related published works.
Mike is experienced in the carrying out of phase 1, phase 2 / nvc surveys and the production of management plans for sensitive sites such as SSSI's.
He is an associate Member of IEEM.

Tom Oliver
Consultant Ecologist
BSc (Hons), MSc
Tom, who joined LCA in 2007 after obtaining an MSc in Ecology from Bangor University, has undertaken a wide range of phase 1 and protected species survey work and is currently preparing to apply for a Natural England bat license.
He possesses a Great Crested Newt License and is an active member of the Birmingham and Black Country Bat Group, Brum Bats. He is a Graduate Member of IEEM.
