Ecology Based Projects

Bowman's Harbour, Heath Town, Wolverhampton - Presence/absence of Great Crested Newt and Water Vole Surveys, in the ponds and ditches of this extensive former landfill site. Undertaken for Wolverhapmton Borough Council.

Castle Wood Primary School, Coventry - Newt fencing was installed around this site and trapping subsequently carried out, in the spring of 2005, prior to the construction of a new school.

Former Yardley Green Hospital Site, Birmingham - Extended Phase One and Protected Species Surveys were carried out for several clients in order to inform various development proposals.
Fox Hollies Park, Birmingham - A SLINC review was carried out Birmingham City Council, on this important site in the South of the city.

Lye and Wollescote Cemetery, Stourbridge - Badger and Evening/Dawn Bat Activity Surveys were undertaken in relation to the redevelopment of derelict chapel buildings, for Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.

Smestow Valley, Wolverhampton - Supervision of scrub clearance works by Wolverhampton City Council Rangers and Groundwork Black Country staff, in order to ensure protection of the site's great creasted newt population.

Stubbers Green Bog, SSSI, Walsall - A Management Plan was produced for this sensitive and strategically important site.

Wolverley High School, Kidderminster - Bat, Badger, Reptile and Great Crested Newt Surveys were carried out during 2009 for Worcestershire County Council in order to inform proposals for the remodelling of the school precincts.

Windsor High School, Halesowen - A Phase One and Tree Survey were carried out, prior to preparing a BREEAM Assessment in connection with the development of a Sixth Form facility at this site.
